Ok...if u have Google Earth (and if not, download it)-check out bristol. Head NE on 3A and after the place on the right which sells Gas and offers breakfast, you will see Dick Brown road. take a right onto this and drive up the road...bear right at the fork and now u s/b on a dirt road. You will eventually pass a road called Poole Hill Road. Take that right and go up the hill...it is kinda steep so if it is muddy and you don't have 4x4...I suggest you don't go up it. Follow this road and eventually it ends. Taking a right you will hit a dead end with a house. Taking a left...will bring you to the previous photo. Continue on and pass the graveyard...you will eventually come to a road that forks...take the right...go down the dirt road...it's really a nice drive. You will come out onto a paved road...take a left and head down that road to the rotary and you will know where u are.

a remote location on the road between Bristol and Portsmouth NH. Next time I go out to places like this, I am going to bring my GPS and also post the coords. I also took the jeep down the road to the left of the photo, but at the top of the small hill, it got a bit muddy and rocky. So, I ended up turning around and coming back.

I received an email recently from someone that had come by my blog. Come to find out, he had grown up nearby (had moved to Geneva, Switzerland) and the photo's I had posted brought back fond memories. Just goes to show the kind of impact the internet has had.

From Skype to IM's to digital photos...pretty amazing that within minutes you can be sharing with friends and family ALL over the world what is going on in your life. Blogs, etc. have allowed people to keep these memories alive...although I must admit, I still keep a diary. Something I started about 12 years ago.

Getting back to digital images. I even went so far as to go out and buy a 200Gb external hard drive, so I could store all of my photos. Why bother deleting them (unless they are REALLY bad)-keep them to share many years down the road!

Although I have not been keeping the blog up as much as I had....I will try going forward!

Well...work is crazy as usual...supposed to be getting our bonus checks next week so we'll see how things are going...but not sure if this is for me. Time will tell...8 months and counting.

I also bought a Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition this past weeked...used...44K miles...got a great deal on my Liberty...but I am soo much happier with the Wrangler...removable hard top...soft top...cannot wait for the summer!

The new job is going ok but I have been really busy! My boss also recently gave her notice so that means I will proabably be promoted to the Quality Manager's position within the next month or so. Performance appraisals won't happen until next February and the promotion will be retroactive in pay...but again, we'l see how things go.

Weather in Mass has been a major pain in the arse! Nothing but rain....rain...rain...and the colors of the trees have all pretty much by-passed fall :( I haven't been able to do any real trail running due to it being dark after work...so weekends are the only time I am doing that...and since the weather has sucked...that has also been a major PITA!
